Krups Blender - About

Krups Blender: a +160 year old German home kitchen appliance manufacture, named after its founder Robert Krups in Wald, near Solingen, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.  Krups began in 1846 by manufacturing precision scales and industrial balances. To date Krups is headquartered in Solingen and Offenbach am Main, Germany.

Part of Krups’ story of success started in 1956, when Krups launches the first electric coffee grinder. As proof of the consumer’s appetite for these new appliances, Krups sold 1 million of these grinders in their first year of manufacture. In 1983 Krups launches its first espresso machine, later extending its range of machines: combination espresso/coffee machines, steam machines and electronically programmable models. 1991 a join venture with established with Nestlé to produce the Krups Nespresso machine, an expresso system using coffee pods.

Krups blenders are solid and designed and manufactured with German ingenuity.
